Role: Design & Creative Direction
To drive consistency and attribution across all brand expressions, I helped develop the Netflix Core Styleguide—a global framework designed to ensure the Netflix brand is unmistakably recognized at every touchpoint. Built from the visual foundation of the Netflix Streams ident, the system leverages this proprietary asset both literally and abstractly, using subtle gradients and light-based treatments to create scalable expressions that flex across platforms, campaigns, and environments. Serving as the connective tissue for the entire brand, the styleguide unifies elements like Netflix Sans and the brand’s iconic logos, ensuring they show up with clarity and intent across product, marketing, and corporate communications. To support global adoption, the system was implemented through a centralized brand platform (brand.netflix.com), enabling teams and partners around the world to access standards, toolkits, and best practices that anchor every expression of the Netflix brand in a shared visual foundation.
